The BRÜT collection celebrates the beauty of brutalism.
Cast Jesmonite objects mimic the geometry and materiality of brutalist buildings
The collection aims to incorporate the key elements of brutalist architecture, such as the textured surfaces and sharp, angular lines created during the casting stages.
Key elements of the project were tested in pigmented plaster casts, using homemade moulds that replicated the sketched textural details
Designed as desk furniture, the objects work together to form a miniature cityscape; with the BRÜT collection, the user can become the architect.
I see this collection being aimed at young, design conscious individuals who value urban and modern design styles
